So on Sunday I made my way to the beautiful Donington Park in Derbyshire to cover the Britcar championship for the BRSCC. This is by far the most attractive circuit based in the UK, the undulation makes for fantastic horizon pictures, coupled with dark skies & sunshine, I was on cloud 9 (haha).
Unfortunately due to the consistent rain, I couldn't use my second camera & lenses & had to stick with my 600mm the entire time, which hindered my creativity and I couldn't get to the Craner Curves due to being soaked beyond belief and taking refuge in the media centre. It's all a learning curve still, but sometimes getting your equipment wet just isn't worth it.
I hope you like the shots, next stop will hopefully (awaiting accreditation) be the Blancpain Spint Series at Brands Hatch on Sunday, my first international event!
